1. on your iphone device there is a option find my iphone make it enable when you buy the iphone device.
2.just by going to icloud.com/find or you need to download free app find my iphone when your iphone device is lost.
3.you need to check the map of all your ios devices by keeping on tracking location you can select your lost iphone device.
4.just put your device on lost mode by clicking on it.after clicking on lost mode following steps are performed.
5.the location services will get on even your device in which location services is disabled.now set your password.
6.a message on lock screen is displayed.by clicking on erase ipad,iphone etc.you can erase all your data,but you cannot trace further.
7.if you can not find by find my iphone,just change password of icloud password.by doing this no one can delete or change your password.
8.you can simply go to supportprofiles.apple.com for finding the serial number which is registerted at appleid.you can also go to the local enforcement and wireless carrier.
